well that is the point.. and that is covered in detail withthe book by Mr Van Flandern .. it goes over how asteroids and planets .. [ moons ] can be captured from an explosion event or even orbital passage.. One of the theories he covers is that a passing star caused planet 5 . a big one . to explode 3.2 million years ago .. its sure a change form the usual billions of years ago stuff, like they know .. its in the link above and you can read online , but i recommend a buy .. its a true desert island book ..
