Good. We are getting somewhere now.
So could it be that the composition of the jet fuel has been changed at some point and thats the reason people remember no such trails before?

I used to work on C-130's and spend 6 years on the flight line. Not saying I know it all, but I have been in the industry. It's what makes me pretty sure those white lines are contrails. And the change in engine types along with the increase in air traffic is what makes more trails today then 20 years ago. There will be more trails in 10 years than today. ok. That is a plausible theory. Does anyone have anything to say to the contrary? I will do more research and come back with more questions for you to answer, Asshat.
