Well im glad someone liked it. I put some thought into this thread :/

From their perspective, a wood home would have to be rebuilt ten to twenty times over a lifetime. That gets real old, quick. It would be like you rebuilding your home every five to ten years. Stone? Build it once and you pass it on to your children. Interesting thought the only problem is there isnt enough stone buildings left around for that to have been a common practice within a populous, perhaps global society as widespread as our own today.
