Where were they when I was "grinding" my way to get these shiny toys... showing up to do pool care in a hatchback. Putting every extra dollar I had in the credit union... (very easy at the ATMs) - went from smoking a pack a day to making a pack last a week.... but couldn't they see I was busting my ass to get where I am at now? I'm not even halfway through my three year plan after getting to this point.

I always trust your advice AG - yet if I wear protection - and take her out to a $30 dinner with some drinks... I mean, I feel like I've earned (IDK if women are the same... but there's something with men, at least me, it's like "New P" will always be better than P you've had before) -

So would a one-night-stand be OK (protection, of course) - and have her drive home or pick her up and send her home in an Uber.

I've been grinding... Hard. Past two years. Had a work truck, yes, but the company owned it. Had a clunker car. After saving up money for two years - I get a nice new truck. Maybe it's a boost in my self confidence... yet all of a sudden, a cute girl at the 7-11 started talking with me... we flirted... went outside, exchanged numbers on the hood of my truck - Told her I live by myself - talked for about 30 minutes... Then, now she's texting me - "Oh, let's go here for dinner.. and if you're lucky you can blah blah"

and then this girl Amber I've always liked... Suddenly, now that I have money and a nice Truck - "dumped her boyfriend" (I'm 32, old soul, we're dealing with girls in their mid to late 20s) - and she wants to hang out.

and it's like... What?! Four months ago when I was JUST starting my business using a damn Kia with a tarp to bring to all my pools - now that I've saved up 30k, got a truck, new furniture, new equipment, (money going into advertising and picking up new accounts)

Suddenly... I'm desirable? I can't tell if my "self esteem" is higher... or if they just see new truck and clothes and haircut... and actually LISTEN to me when I tell them what I did...

I don't know.

Women are interesting yet beautiful creatures.

Did no one pay attention in school? It's a survival skill for females to look for the best male providers for them and their potential offspring. It happens in ALL animals. With birds it's the males with the prettiest plummage, best song or dance, or the one who wins her by building the best nest for her.

In other animals it's fighting. The male fights for the female and the female will go with the winner.

Females in all species obviously want the winning male. This includes human animals.

Go watch some Nat Geo or Discovery if you missed this in school.
