The European Court of Human Rights made the ruling on a case involving a Romanian engineer who was fired after using Yahoo Messenger not only to communicate with professional contacts, but to send messages to his fiancée and brother. The Strasbourg court sided with his employer that it was “not unreasonable that an employer would want to verify that employees were completing their professional tasks during working hours.” The judge dismissed the employee’s claim that his right to privacy had been breached in the form of his confidential correspondence being compromised. Sweden and Germany have passed laws to protect the privacy of the employee in cases EXACTLY LIKE THIS. It is about WHO OWNS the information NOT who owns the device that was used to compose/store/display the information Shame on you! (and U call yourselves 'awake'..) |

It's use Signal, high encryption designed to be read by only the sender and the receiving devices, they would have to totally re-design the format and processing of the encryption which would violate privacy protocols of the original design. Their is no way Suckerberg is going to let some shitty countries justice system take over his billion dollar investment. As for Yahoo, yeah Yahoo can be monitored because Yahoo is a piece of shit system lacking encryption |

You are not entitled to messaging or social media use on company time and network. Suck it up millennial twats. I understand that the Left has gone too far but we shouldn't get carry away to the opposite pole (slavery) only to make a stand. When you go to work THAT DOESN'T MEAN the Boss OWNS YOUR SOUL or that you are not even allowed to take a pee without asking for permission. We ARE NOT MILITARY |

As for Yahoo, yeah Yahoo can be monitored because Yahoo is a piece of shit system lacking encryption There are simple man-in-the-middle features built into every enterprise proxy server available today. The simply establish the encryption at the proxy server (instead of the user's device) and all traffic is captured. Trying to avoid personal info from being captured? Don't send it using the company network. |
