Dream: The Black Horse

I have been asked three times to share this dream so I thought maybe I should share with all. Yah forgive me if I should have kept it private.

I had the dream January 16th-ish, 2014. I posted it on another discussion forum on January 18, 2014 as a date stamp so I would remember when it I had the dream (it was two days before I posted it on the forum).


I am at my home, which doesn't look like my own but I know it is. In my dream one of my children tells me there are three men outside who want to talk to me. I go outside to where they are standing on the street in front of our yard. They are all different looking, but all dressed in business attire.

They ask me if my house is still for sale, and I ask them how they knew my house was for sale as advertised it last summer, but decided to stay instead. They show a poster I had posted on a tree advertising the house, which I must have forgotten to remove many months prior (Our house wasn't really for sale -- only in the dream).

I then add my husband just lost his job and we may consider selling if the price is right. I didn't get a good feeling about why they wanted my property, but I asked one of them for his business card. The first man, who is overweight, reaches into his pocket and hands me a nickel. I laugh and say, "What, are you the queen? Am I supposed to call Buckingham Palace?" (In Canada, all of our coins have Queen Elizabeth on one side, and a Canadian icon on the other).

I turn to the third man who says he has a card. This man is tall, skinny, and blonde. He fans out a pack of tarot cards for me to choose from. Normally I wouldn't touch tarot cards but I say, "What if I pick the black horse?" and I select a card and I know it is the black horse card. But instead of a black horse on the card, it has Asian writing on it. (I know what real tarot cards look like and these did not look like real tarot cards but somehow in the dream I knew they were tarot cards).

The card I select also has what looks like the Japanese flag at the bottom, except the red sun is brush-stroked and more stylized. Over the top part of the sun was an Asian dragon, and over the bottom part of the sun was a crow.

I then notice the man's name is on the card. I can't remember the first name, but the last name is Winter.




Interpretation notes:

In the case of my dream I didn't sense they were good men and I knew that there were three men was significant somehow. I later realized three men maybe meant three years from when I received the dream.The men were in the business attire. One or two were in trench coats carrying briefcases and all were wearing suits. I think it signified an economic emphasis.

As for the nickel, I think that it's worth five cents may be important. It may have to do with the fact it is now the smallest valued coin in Canadian currency since the penny was eliminated. All of our coins have the queen on them. He could have handed me a loonie (worth $1) or a twoonie ($2), but he gave me the least valued coin (forcasting the devaluation of the Canadian dollar?). As for the queen, it's hard to say. The feeling I had about that message is the queen or British royalty were influencing something.

As for the black horse, this is what the scriptures say:

Rev. 6:5-6 When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!

When I looked up the black horse in scriptures to read the details again, I was surprised. I had forgotten the black horse was the horse that brought famine and inflation. For some reason I thought it brought war, but of course that is the red horse.

In my dream I got the impression the tarot card I chose showed how the black horse would come. It was from Asia, I think from Japan. And, yes,the dragon (Satan) is all over this one.

As for the crow -- I think of crow as cunning, ruthless, scavengers. They are a complicit partner in crime who is just waiting moments of vulnerability.I think it shows the crows were "under" the dragon and would devour after the dragon.

But it was also crows/ravens who brought Elijah food during a famine. So that may be the application.

And Winter... I think because Winter was the last name, whatever the message is, it happens in the winter, or just after. I received the dream January 16 (I think, within a day or two), 2014. This may be significant -- Perhaps three years from that date (Jan. 16, 2017) or including that date (1st man, is the year from Jan 16. 2014, 2nd man is the year from Jan. 16, 2015, third man is the year from Jan. 16 2016).


Any insight into the interpretation would be appreciated.
