Polly, Good replys. Point blank Polly why do you think these democrats voted like they did? I know you mentioned in an earlier post that they bought all the lies like we all did. OR? Is it possible that maybe they know something that we dont. Something that they cannot say. Something that would blow all of us away were the truth be known. Polly just my thoughts on this. I know you lean democrat, but only the lesser of two evils. My take.

What is pointless? Do you mean acknowledging the reality that we have a serious problem, in that the "opposition" party has conspired with Bush? If that's what you're saying, then I gather you mean that it's better to pretend this hasn't happened, and to go ahead and give our stamp of approval to people who have taken away our freedoms.

Tell me, how would that change things?

The OP is right, as much as I like Polly...cause you know what will happen? THe democrats will get control, continue the process of turning America into a semi fascist NANNY STATE, fall out of favor, and this shall happen again...cycles of history is all.

The Democratic party is FULL of corruption, and if you don't believe it, listen to how silent they were as Beirut was destroyed...

No, we did not ALL buy the lies! What are you talking about?! This war was shoved down our throats by BOTH parties.

You bet there is something they cannot tell you. Isreal is their puppetmaster, and that's why they voted for the war, and STILL SUPPORT IT. When the new president of Iraq came here, recently, he was boycotted by DEMOCTRATS. You know why? Because he spoke up about US support of Israel bombing the shit out of Israel. The Democrats said he was anti semite! They are fucking bought and sold by the Mossad.

Have you so much as bothered to look at the voting records that I put up here? CONGRESS has given him everything he's wanted. That includes the Democrats.

Re: Pollyannuh, I'm calling you out
Polly, you and I have much in common. I started my political life working for George McGovern. I've been paid staff on Dem campaigns. I withdrew in disgust, and many of my friends went on to powerful positions in Washington. So, I have seen it from the inside, as well.

You said:
>>>Sadly, we do not have viable third-party candidates across these United States in the numbers needed to succeed this year.<<<

You see, Polly, that is the line that has been perpetuated, by both parties, so they can maintain their stranglehold on our political process. Don't you realize that they will ALWAYS say, "now is not the time"? And you must be aware, to make damn sure that now is not the time, they go to court to keep third parties out of the race. Both parties have refused to take part in debates when a third party is present. The Democrats conducted an all out smear campaign against Ralph Nader, who is above reproach.

You keep talking about change. There will be no change because there is NO DIFFERENCE, and you said so, yourself.

I'm becoming more aware that Repubicans seem to imitate/follow the Banker/Illuminati type of personality.

Democrats must not be aware that Big Business/Big Banking are running the show. Except the 99.99% that are paid off/threatened by Big Business/Big Banking

If a democrat knows the truth, he's afraid to speak up.

Now, us "crazy" people don't fear death. That's because we realize we are already in hell. (But you aren't supposed to know that...)

Best Wishes,
Stan P.

Re: Pollyannuh, I'm calling you out
Many Republicans seem mystified that President Bush and the current administration are not getting more traction in the election polls for the state of the economy and the surging stock market. In the past this key issue was instrumental in swaying voters. What’s different this time?

Surely Iraq is a mess, one created unnecessarily by the President Bush crowd. That is common knowledge and it has the voters overriding attention. However, it is more than that. The reason the strong economy has not created favor for President Bush and his administration is that the ECONOMY IS NOT THAT STRONG and Joe and Jane voter know it:

The dollar is supposedly strong because the economy is good, interest rates are low because there is low inflation.

Then how do we get a GDP of 1.6%?

This is the number that they release just before elections.

lmao

Plenty of people spoke up against going to war in Iraq. Many ordinary Americans. Are you telling me that you want people in office who will go to fucking war, killing hundreds of thousands, because they don't have the backbone to vote for what's right? No, SHAME ON YOU, and all the good germans, who lack the courage of conviction.

Exactly...a surging stockmarket doesn't have anything to do with the fact that wages are NOT increasing...and everyone is fearful of housing...it's all bullshit. People who are working two 40 hour jobs aren't going to swallow it anymore.
