Some researcher publishes some questionable results in The Lancet (known for publishing nonsense) DOES NOT officially classify anything as anything, except maybe you, as an ignoramus. The Lancet is the medical professional's "bible". It is HIGHLY respected.

I've known for decades that fluoride is a by-product of aluminum production, and is not in ANY WAY acceptable for human consumption. But they can't just dump it in the rivers...so they sold it on us as cavity prevention. Sad thing is, it's now in our water supply.

It comes from the ground. Many people with wells have it in their water, because God put it there.

By the way, The Lancet is known for publishing gems and garbage, side by side. It takes a good MD to tell the difference, or at least some one prepared to read the paper critically, and not just buy what some one says their research shows.

My kids use organic, floride free toothpaste. They also dont drink unfiltered water.
