I have been covering every word that has come out about this militia standoff. I have felt ups and downs, but now I feel a big down. I do not think the FBI is going to mill around Harney County for much longer.

It seems the people want it to be over. What does "over" mean? I don't want to think about it.

If the Militia is arrested without bloodshed, no doubt they will do time.

They say, however, they will not be arrested.

The only saving grace here could be the documents that Pete Santilli says they now have.

I pray they have what it is gonna take to push the Feds into a corner.

Occupiers of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge for three weeks have made sweeping demands that local and federal authorities say are both brazen and unrealistic. They want immediate freedom for imprisoned local ranchers. They want federal deeds voided and private owners to take over the property. They want the county to control the refuge. They want federal grazing permits vacated, leaving ranchers free to graze as they choose. And they say they won't go until they get their way. Interviews with lawyers, ranchers, federal authorities and others make clear: Little of what they want is likely to happen for reasons that include legal principle, basic property rights, economic forces and cost.

A rancher from New Mexico renounced his U.S. Forest Service grazing contract at an event held by an armed group occupying a national wildlife refuge in Oregon to protest federal land-use policies.

Adrian Sewell, of Grant County, New Mexico, took the action at the event attended by about 120 people at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. A group led by Ammon Bundy began occupying the area in eastern Oregon's high desert Jan. 2.

Bundy has said the federal government has no authority to enforce federal grazing contracts with ranchers.

Here is a new development. Activists and lawmakers are now calling on the Feds to arrest Cliven Bundy and sons...the whole militia, too.

They want them arrested and charged now.

A group comprised of activists and lawmakers is calling on the Department of Justice to arrest Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and his family.

Speaking Friday, members of that group said they believe that the Bundys escaping arrest during a standoff in Nevada led to the current situation in Harney County, OR.

Lawmakers, Native Americans and conservationists are calling for Cliven Bundy, his sons and their militia arrested. Members of the Tribe of Paiute Indians said they are tired of what they called the government’s double standard when it comes to the Bundys.

“If Native American people would go into a federal building and take it over, we’d be dead,” Paiute Tribe member Fawn Douglas said.
