Sheriff Palmer of Grant County advised the Hammonds be released. [link to www.source30.com] LINK: A jury convicted the Hammonds in 2012 of beginning fires on public lands, burning about one hundred forty acres. Federal prosecutors stated the fires have been set to cover poaching, whereas the Hammonds, who turned themselves in earlier this month to start out 5-yr federal jail sentences, maintained the fires have been set to guard their property from invasive crops and wildfires. Along with calling for the Hammonds’ launch, protest leaders have stated lands beneath federal management in Harney County have to be transferred to locals. In one other improvement Sunday, Glenn Palmer, the sheriff of close by Grant County, gave a press release to The Oregonian/OregonLive that stated “the federal government goes to need to concede one thing” to finish the occupation. He mentions liberating the Hammonds from jail and sending the FBI house as choices, in response to the newspaper’s web site, OregonLive. |

Grant County must be adjoining Harney, as Ammon Bundy called the Sheriff of Grant County, Sheriff Palmer. He requested that he come to the Refuge for a visit. As a result of that visit good things are beginning to develop. Praise God! Sheriff Palmer has said that he thinks the Hammonds should be freed, and the FBI should leave Harney County. He said that Ammon Bundy nor the militia are not to be feared. LINK:BURNS – Leaders of the armed protesters holding the national bird sanctuary on Tuesday plan to push their anti-government agenda in Grant County, whose sheriff recommends the government give in to two of their key demands. Sheriff Glenn Palmer said in a statement to The Oregonian/OregonLive that "the government is going to have to concede something" to end the occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. He said freeing a father-son ranching team from prison "would be a start. Sending the FBI home would be a start." He referred to the FBI's lead role in ending the refuge occupation. "I just pray to God that cooler heads prevail and that no one gets killed," Palmer said. The sheriff's endorsement of the militants' demands stunned law enforcement officials, most who would not publicly discuss the matter. This is Sheriff Glenn Palmer of Grant County: THIS IS THE GOOD OLE TYPE OF SHERIFF THE KIND YOU INVITE FOR DINNER |

Sheriff Palmer of Grant County advised the Hammonds be released. Pete Santilli is very angry at this time with the public. He says we should be at the Wildlife Refuge protesting. He said they are about to lock Burns down. However, some of us find it impossible to be there, but we are getting the information out by posting it on this forum. I cannot go to Burns, Oregon, and that is all I have to say about it. I would like to hear from others on this. |

That could happen. But it won't happen, because of anything Sheriff Palmer does. He is an authentic man, who lives by the Constitution. |

Quoting: TrumpsRedHat This could start a movement to do so. Sheriff Glenn Palmer will not back off from what he said. He is a Constitutional Sheriff. It won't start a movement to do so. Just like occupying the bird building didn't start a movement. Just like how the Hammond family didn't want to resist. If you watch the video, you can tell he just wants them release because he is afraid of an armed conflict and is scared of people getting hurt. Not a constitutional sherriff but one scared of conflict. |
