"Even as a child, I was always struck by the distinct lack of mosques in the U.S., but they say what America lacks in mosques, it makes up tenfold in prisons."
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Fuck these people. We're horrible and they need to change us so we're more like them. I don't know about this story in particular, but so many immigrants share that attitude. Middle-eastern and South American especially.
Screw that. I mean, don't these people realize they're coming to the west to enjoy what we enjoy and so they don't have to tolerate the various degrees of fucked uppedness all Muslim countries stew in? Not just talking about 'refugees' here, but any immigrant. They left their country and came here for a REASON, yes? There was something about HERE that was more appealing than THERE.
Don't come to our neighborhood escaping the shitty conditions of your homeland, and then immediately try to replicate those same shitty conditions you were escaping from. Otherwise stay the hell where you are if you're going to do your damndest to recreate your homeland everywhere you go.
'Seeking a better life' my ass. They don't want change. They want to live exactly as they did in their own shithole. They're forcing their fucked up lives on everyone else.
UGH.
