Extrapolating from single celled microbes through humans that can build quantum computers and can even understand it's own molecular structure we could predict that we are headed to immortal beings with complete control over reality itself.

We could in theory replace our neurons with artificial non aging and repairable ones. That could even be inserted into another self designed reality.

We could subject our new cyborg brains to any reality we chose. Flying.. etc..
We could have complete control of the simulation.
