What you say is sound scripture. The Exodus, much like the "old testament" was a foreshadowing of a more perfect representation. After Christ death the veil was removed? We now have a more perfected relationship with Him Personally instead of the priestly representation?

Paul says right here, that "that day" (the day of the Lord, aka the trib) would not happen until the falling away happened FIRST. I personally believe it isn't falling away though, but Departure, bc there is a definitive Greek article here "the" it means a specific event, not a general wasting away) and then the son of perdition (antichrist) would be revealed.

2nd Thess. 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

This can only be the Holy Ghost, and since He will never leave us nor forsake us, (we are deposited, sealed by the HG.) God can't deny us, bc He would be denying Himself.

Ppl think that this means the Holy Ghost will leave and ppl rightly so say "well then no one can come to Christ." The HG doesn't leave, His role merely changes. For 483 years, from King Artaxerzes, to the cutting off of Messiah, the HG could only dwell ON ppl, not inside. Once the rapture happens, the HG will resume His role, the way he did during this time, this is why the trib saints are not part of the Bride, bc the HG doesn't live within.

Those that believe Jesus would make His Bride go through the "testing of the world" after we have turned our back ON the world, have a very low opinion of Jesus as a groom. Its flippin' spousal abuse!

Lastly, the focus of the first 483 years was on ISRAEL! The last seven years will be focused on...ISRAEL! It isn't called the "time of Jacob's trouble" for nothing!

Also, God reveals in Revelation chapter 20 that Tribulation martyrs - those who refuse the Mark of the Beast - will be resurrected and reign with Jesus 1000 years. Who will they reign over? If God takes all of the believers off the earth at the END of the Tribulation, who will He rule over? Not unbelievers. Logic and Scripture say you are wrong.

Jesus will rule over believers who survive the Tribulation and remain on earth. If they're "caught up" to meet the Lord, there would be nobody left to rule over.
