Are you fuckng kidding me op? These kids were clearly fucked over in court. Many of the original witnesses have recanted their testimony. The investigators have been proven to be incompetent as they could not tell the diff between a ritualistic killing and animals gnawing on dead bodies after their deaths.
The most likely culprit here one of the murdered kids stepfather terry Hobbs. He denied ever seeing them that day but a witness says she absolutely saw Hobbs with the 3 boys the day they wer murdered. Do you honestly think they would have freed the 3 if they thought for a second they had the right guys? They were convicted on recanted testimony and that of an "expert" on demons who pulled all sorts of bs from his ass.

Edit: oh and let's not forget about Miskellys "confession" where they took the borderline retarded Miskelly stuck him in a room for hours and hours on end, and clearly steered his confession to exactly what they wanted. even with the bs "confession" many, many things did not add up but they still allowed it. Miskelly wasn't even friends with Echols or Baldwin and wasn't invited to the party when they were freed.
