Are you fuckng kidding me op? These kids were clearly fucked over in court. Many of the original witnesses have recanted their testimony. The investigators have been proven to be incompetent as they could not tell the diff between a ritualistic killing and animals gnawing on dead bodies after their deaths.
The most likely culprit here one of the murdered kids stepfather terry Hobbs. He denied ever seeing them that day but a witness says she absolutely saw Hobbs with the 3 boys the day they wer murdered. Do you honestly think they would have freed the 3 if they thought for a second they had the right guys? They were convicted on recanted testimony and that of an "expert" on demons who pulled all sorts of bs from his ass.

Edit: oh and let's not forget about Miskellys "confession" where they took the borderline retarded Miskelly stuck him in a room for hours and hours on end, and clearly steered his confession to exactly what they wanted. even with the bs "confession" many, many things did not add up but they still allowed it. Miskelly wasn't even friends with Echols or Baldwin and wasn't invited to the party when they were freed.

It was clearly the one boy's stepfather, who took hours to report to the boy's mother that he had not come home from school. The mother thinks he did it, even the pastor who was so adamant is what the three teens came to believe in their innocence. Nice try. You clearly haven't followed the case very closely.

Based on what? An inconclusive DNA test 20 years after the fact? Why isnt the father in jail if it is so clear?

THESE^^. Go watch all 3 Paradise Lost documentaries. Terry Hobbs is probably a filthy child killer. He did not want his stepson. The autopsy showed bad damage to the boys ears. Terry Hobbs was abusive and had a habit of dragging and throwing his stepson around by his ears in anger.

misskelley confessed no fewer than 6 times. Once to his lawyer once in the back of police car on the way to prison.

Horse shit. The only one who confessed was Miskelly.

Based on witness account of someone and their child seeing Hobbs with the 3 victims shortly before they went missing and then Hobbes denied to the police about having seen the kids, as well as caught in lies about MANY other details. Just because you have a solid suspect doesn't mean there is enough evidence to meet the burden of proof required to convict someone for murder. This is a good read about why many people think he is suspect #1.

Cleared of the source of DNA maybe. A strand of hair on a rope that could have been handled by many people many times is hardly compelling evidence. He hasn't been cleared on anything else as he had no alibi to clear him. He has been caught lying too many times to be cleared.

This is only a couple paragraphs in your link and this paragraph is absolutely false. They did not plead guilty at all. They accepted an Alford plea which means they still claim their innocence while acknowledging that the state had enough evidence to convict them(which they really didn't). Echols didn't even want to accept that as he wanted to be completely cleared of the crime.
So according to your link, the da said "fuck it, just admit your guilty and we will set you free"... Are you fucking kidding me?

there won't be one unless more evidence comes out. There simply isn't enough evidence to file a case against him. That doesn't mean he is not a good suspect. The crime happened over 20 years ago and is still a very dark topic in the area. At the time the public demanded they charge someone, so they did. Perhaps if the investigators were more diligent they would have interviewed all the victims parents/step parents immediately and Hobbs's lies would have been discovered much sooner and there wouldn't have been a need for the witch hunt against the 3. The burden of proof in a murder trial is pretty steep, and they had people lined up with false testimony against the 3, which has all been recanted since. Even having family members think you did it doesn't even come close to meeting the burden of proof.

Please tell me what "proof" you have against these boys. Maybe the Miskelley confession perhaps? The confession that has so many gaping holes and impossibilities it should never have been allowed? They used the "Reid" technique of interogation which is banned in many other countries because of the extremely high rates of false confessions this method is responsible for.

The innocence project tore these arguments to shreds in court. If they really thought they had 3 child killers on their hands, why free them?
Also this page is very outdated and still lists confessions that have been recanted and evidence that has been debunked through and through. im sorry but your link is garbage. They still list people who were allegedly confessed to on their side bar, even though these people recanted but never changed the page to clarify that. Do you have any links that don't have bullshit all over them or are those the only 2? I'll be happy to examine a third and pick the bullshit out in those as well. But since you already tried to insult me I'll assume your next post to me will be more meaningless insults and no substance, which would be fine with me.
I don't expect you to change your mind, as you don't expect to change mine. But it does seem clear to me you have absolutely nothing on these guys, and neither did the state, which is why they were forced to free them when competent attorneys took up their cause and destroyed the case.

Edit: I don't care if your link is biased, I expect that. Just don't post extremely outdated crap that has been debunked for years, and I'll take the arguement that they did it more seriously, but I haven't seen anything even close to doing that yet. The fact that they set these guys free proves that they knew they couldn't keep up the charade and had the wrong guys the whole time.
