Banks to inquire how much cash you plan on withdrawing if you open an account with them

New rules of a big bank in the southeastern United States is now requiring employees to demand from all new and existing customers how much money they plan on withdrawing in cash now.

Not check debit cards, cash.

It also requires employees of the bank to find out where all bank users are employed (including ones that do not bank there but they are cashing a check issued by the bank). These questions are mandatory, neither the customer nor the bank employee may refuse to ask or refuse to answer questions.

This is supposed to be turned into a corporate policy in November this year - after the elections, I'm sure.
