Rick Warren claimed he did not say the things that he said in the youtube video. Well, here is the audio of that video and the proof that some said they would need and for which I do not blame them...

Megapastor Rick Warren's Damascus Road experience

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Posted: November 20, 2006
1:00 a.m. Eastern

WASHINGTON – Rick Warren, the superstar mega-church pastor and bestselling author of ''The Purpose Driven Life,'' had a Damascus Road experience last week – and like Saul of Tarsus, one of the after-effects appears to be blindness.
Warren went to Syria and could find no persecution of Christians. He could find no persecution of Jews. He could find no evidence of extremism. He could find no evidence of the sponsorship of terrorism.

Despite the temporary loss of vision that prevented him from seeing any evil in the totalitarian police state, Warren's hearing was apparently not affected – for his ears were tickled by what he heard and apparently accepted lock, stock and barrel from the second-generation dictator, Bashar Assad, and his state-approved mufti.

(Column continues below)

But that's not the story Warren is telling – at least not in the official press releases he is sending out from Rwanda in response to my confrontations with him last week in which I accused him of betraying his own country in a hostile foreign land and of being a propaganda tool of the Islamo-fascist regime in Damascus.

In fact, after I called him out last week in my column, Warren e-mailed me claiming to have been misquoted by the official Syrian news agency.

''Joseph, why didn't you contact me first and discover the fact that I said nothing of the sort?'' he pleaded. ''The trip was a favor to my next door neighbor, had nothing to do with policy, and was done with the State Department's knowledge – who told us to expect exactly what Syria did – a PR blast. I don't pretend to be a diplomat. I'm a pastor who just gets invited places.''

I pointed out to Warren that WND had indeed attempted to contact him about his trip. No one from his Saddleback Church ever returned our calls the day the story broke.

''I'm sure since you were warned in advance by the State Department that you took the precaution of recording your own words,'' I suggested in my response. ''We look forward to seeing the transcripts or hearing the recordings.''

I also asked if he could respond specifically to the words put in his mouth by the Syrian news agency. And lastly I suggested that he should have ''counseled with me, or other people knowledgeable about the Middle East before doing so much damage with your reckless trip.''

I really didn't expect to hear back from Warren – but, a few minutes later, I did, with an absolutely stunning retort.

He let me know he is a close friend of President Bush ''and many, if not most, of the generals at the Pentagon.''

He also told me he did not tape anything while in Syria, ''because it was a courtesy call, like I do in every country.''

Warren explained that he had also counseled with the National Security Council and the White House, as well as the State Department, before his little courtesy call for a neighbor.

abomb''In fact,'' Warren added, ''as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Oxford Analytica, I might know as much about the Middle East as you.''abomb

He continued: ''I hope you'll not choose to believe Syrian propaganda even though, as you pointed out at the start of your article, you've been wanting to criticize me for some time. In spite of your rush to judgment, I think you write great, insightful columns. You are almost batting 1,000.''

No sooner had I received this surprising response from Warren, I also got an e-mail providing a link to a YouTube video of Rick Warren in Syria explaining how great the Assad regime treats Christians and Jews and how Damascus ''does not permit extremism of any kind.''

Not one to let lies go unchallenged, I wrote back to Warren with a link to the YouTube video: ''If you didn't tape anything, what's this? Do you really believe Syria does not allow extremism of any kind? There are more terrorist organizations based in Syria than anywhere else in the world!''

It might be that Rick Warren, deep in the bush of Rwanda, never received those last questions, because he never responded – at least not in the last three days.

He did, however, within minutes make sure the YouTube video he recorded independent of his meetings with the Syrian brown shirts was removed from the network. Vanished. Kaput. Sterilized. Cleansed.

Stay tuned for more on Rick Warren's ''Agenda-Driven Life'' in the coming days – sponsored, of course, by the Council on Foreign Relations.

Rick Warren disciples: Where are you?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Posted: November 21, 2006
1:00 a.m. Eastern

Millions and millions of people have purchased his books.
His California church attracts thousands every Sunday.

He seems to be the go-to guy whenever the establishment, ultra-secular press wants to quote an evangelical leader they like.

I'm talking about Rick Warren, author of "The Purpose Driven Life" and the pastor of the Saddleback Church.

Ever since I first pointed out the way he betrayed the persecuted church and our Jewish brothers and sisters living in captivity in the totalitarian police state of Syria, I have been expecting to get blasted.

(Column continues below)

I thought for sure I would hear from these millions of well-educated, well-informed, biblically astute purpose-driven disciples.

It has been six days. God created the whole universe in that amount of time. And, so far, I haven't heard one cogent argument, apologia or rationalization for Warren's actions by any of his flock.

I'm told he's got one of the best PR machines money can buy. He sure is not getting his money's worth.

On the other hand, I can tell you hundreds of thousands of people are reading my critiques of his misadventures in misguided foreign policy. We can actually count those readers on WND. And they are being spread far and wide in a viral way by e-mailers and bloggers.

Is the strategy now to ignore Farah?

Is the strategy to pretend WND doesn't exist?

Is the strategy to ignore the hard facts presented here about what Rick Warren said and did in Syria and hope the controversy blows over?

I've got news for you. It's not going to blow over. I won't let it.

I demand an apology from Rick Warren – not to me, for heaven's sake, but to Christians in Syria who choose to worship outside the state-approved churches he toured. I demand an apology to the Jews who suffer the humiliating life of dhimmitude in Syria today while Rick Warren tells the world they don't exist.

This is a world I know something about.

It was just about a year ago that my Jerusalem bureau chief, Aaron Klein, was prevented from entering Syria for one reason – he's Jewish!

Funny, I don't remember Rick Warren protesting that action – minor, really, compared to the indignities Jews in Syria live with daily, but well-publicized nonetheless.

Perhaps Rick Warren hasn't seen the Syrian TV show – a big hit in Damascus – that renews the blood libel direct from "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion," entertaining millions with a graphic story of a rabbi who slits the throat of a young Christian boy so he can use it to prepare the Passover motzah.

Perhaps Rick Warren hasn't noticed that the Syrian government has published an updated version of the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion," an anti-Semitic story that claims Jews run the world by proxy.

Perhaps Rick Warren is not aware of hundreds of years of genocidal pogroms that have taken place in Syria at the expense of the Jews.

But of course he must know about all these things, because he says he's an avid reader of my column and an expert on the Middle East because of his membership in the Council on Foreign Relations.

Rick Warren thinks it is commendable that Syria has opened its arms to Christians fleeing Iraq. What he doesn't know or doesn't say is that many of those Christians fleeing Iraq are fleeing bullets and bombs and terrorists that have entered Iraq through Syria. He also doesn't explain President Bashar Assad's penchant for keeping his friends close and his enemies closer.

I'm not going to let this matter slide. Not me. Not this Syrian-Lebanese-American Christian journalist. If Rick Warren thinks dialogue with everyone is so great – let the dialogue begin right here. The persecuted church in Syria can't speak for itself. But I will stand with them in answering Rick Warren's lies about their tormentors.

Some time ago I actually got upset with a Pastor friend of mine for criticizing what Rick Warren was doing. However, I was later shown and convinced that they were right and I felt truly awful for getting upset at my brother in Christ. This last week Rick Warren has really shown his true stripes and I hope that anyone who is in his church gets out...

Regarding the discussion yessterday, I will see if I can find the link. Thanks for the heads up. Been out for a bit... Goofy Thum

I do have to tell you that while I knew that Rick Warren's teachings had some major issues, I would have never expected to hear that he was a member of the Council of Foreign Relations. WOW! That is about as contradictory as it gets...

All of the 'prominent' Church pastors are WCC or CFR members.

Some are Opus Dei others are high degree Masons.

They've signed a pack with the devil and are ultimately controlled by their illumined brothers.

One thing you must of leaned 3rd. D R that no Christian is going to meet the standard set by Christ. Never put any faith in anyones teachings. Learn for yourself what is going, which I know your doing.
Have you noticed how many Christian leaders are falling lately? I have been studing this scenario for a few years now.

I have yet to see a mega church that I did not have discrepancies with their teachings and that is a good indication that perhaps we should stay away from the Hollywood style churches. I am not saying there aren't any out there, but from my personal experience I have yet to see one.

A good example is an interview with POastor Joel Osteen recently where he was asked his views on homosexuality. He stalled and stalled to avoid the question and then finally replied that "Homosexuality was not God's best".

???

Not God's best? This was an abomination to the Lord and that is evidenced by the pile of burning sulfur at the locations of Sodom and Gomorrah. These ancient sites have been found. That is flat out heresy. Now I want you to understand that I do not condemn homosexuals and they have a right to salvation as much as any of us if they repent and leave this way of life. God does not hate these people. He hates and detests the sins they commit. He loves them and wants them to leave this way of life and follow him just as much as you or I. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. This is no exception, but you cannot bend God's truth to accomodate your sin. It does not work that way and God's decrees are final and inflexible.

I most certainly did. We can never meet the standards set forth by our Lord and that is why it was necessary for Him to die for me on the cross. He paid my sin debt as well as everyone else's. However, while we are never free from sin entirely, we are no longer a slave to sin as we were before. If we truly believe in Christ, we can leave our sinful ways of life (habitual sin) and follow him.

In regards to the responses when you reveal the wolf, I have to say that in my prior naivity and youth of my faith, I too was guilty of casting judgment when someone would speak out against the teachings of another. I no longer am and I will always investigate their claims to see if that which they say is true. If I am convinced of their argument, I will join forces with them in warning others. That is in direct obedience to God regarding false teachers of the law and to admonish them for that which they do. As watchmen we are also to sound the alarm when we see a wolf approaching as well, regardless of the backlash.

I am not alarmed any more about how many leaders are falling as I know that this is in fulfillment of Prophecy. However, it does break my heart to see the church in such a state and I have lost many a nights sleep because of that grief.

"...All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. This is no exception, but you cannot bend God's truth to accomodate your sin. It does not work that way and God's decrees are final and inflexible."

Not to mention that God's blessings do not rest on the person who commits the sin that He has cursed. That is why this country is in the shape it's in.

A French emissary (forget who) said way back when that "America is great because America is good. When America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great." He said that in a time when America was socially moral.

We are now approaching third-world status politically, economically, and educationally, and it can be led right to the pulpits of the churches whose "pastors" have remained silent on these issues. Their agenda is the same as that of the NWO: Keep the minions enslaved, poor, and dumbed down.

Can you imagine what type of world we would live in today had the church's and governments and their people followed the teachings without bending them?

I feel likewise regarding the deception of Pastors. I have witnessed it and I have seen the aftermath and it is not pretty and leaves the entire church in disarray. Very sad indeed. Nobody likes to be duped either and sometimes I see our brothers and sisters stubbornly ignoring the lie because they don't want to see the truth. Very sad.

As for your art, what type of artist are you? I have several family members who are artists. 1 potter, 1 stained glass and 1 glassblower and I love seeing their work...

That is really cool. I have a friend of mine that does graphics etc for Bungee software and I was amazed at the sickening reality of some of the characters he "built".

Regarding the falling away, I share your views and I do believe there are some major events in the days ahead, especially those engineered around deception. We may be handed up to be persecuted for a time, I am not sure. I am not a date setter for the rapture of the church and I am not completely convinced we escape everything. God said we would escape his wrath which according to my understanding does not begin until 3.5 years into the tribulation.

With falling away, I myself drifted away from the church because of the 'cozy" teachings that coddled everyone. I could say that I fell away from the church because I lost faith that the church was preaching the true word of God. However, that was a mistake and it is ever more important that we are in the church to witness when there is a lack thereof and to be there to rebuke or admonish false teachings so that others may not be misled...

I pm'd you with my e-mail so feel free to contact me. I have spent hundred's perhaps thousands of hours in the last several years researching end times events and the identity of the players so if you have any questions or observations, I would be more than willing to fellowship with you regarding what we know and compare notes.

All I have to say is this. I have personally known Rick for a number of years and have always found him to be honest and forthright in his personal life and public life, if he says that he was quoted incorrectly or did not in fact say something like what happened in Syria, I would believe him over others tying to knock him

I have spent hundred's perhaps thousands of hours in the last several years researching end times events and the identity of the players so if you have any questions or observations, I would be more than willing to fellowship with you regarding what we know and compare notes.

I got that email. I would like to communicate and compare notes. I have done alot of homework in the bible, and I want to warn you that what I have uncovered might offend you, but you can find out that what I would share can be validated. More going on in this world than you can believe. Thats why I try to make people happy and give them a good laugh with my cartoons and animations. If I can make you laugh, then I feel I have been blessed in doing so...

All I have to say is this. I have personally known Rick for a number of years and have always found him to be honest and forthright in his personal life and public life, if he says that he was quoted incorrectly or did not in fact say something like what happened in Syria, I would believe him over others tying to knock him

Saw the video on you tube

Joseph Farah saw it as well

Joseph Farah confronted Rick Warren about his comments there and Rick Lied and said he was misquoted. He also said the trip was personal which is also false because I have a copy of the letter he put out to his followers stating that the trip was not a personal one and was a three fold trip.

Joseph farah e-mailed the link to Rick after their conversation

abombA short time later---Video vaporized!!!abomb

It's no longer there.

It is one thing to have someone tell you that someone said something. iut is quite another to see it with your own eyes.

I will find the video again and I will post it in this forum when I find it so that you can hear the truth about what happened and what was said over there. I have alot of friends overseas and they are looking for it as we speak. I want you to see for yourself. When I have something, I will put it up here...

Just out of curiousity though. You don't seem to find it odd that a member of the Illuminist CFR is a Pastor of a church??? scratching This was by Rick's own admission and freely offered...

With the amount I have uncovered regarding Babylon, the USA and the list goes on. I think it would be difficult to offend me. Thing that is remarkable is that I came to the conclusions about many of these things without outside influence. I just read the bible...

When I investigated afterward, I received all the confirmation I needed. What a Divine and Inspired book it is...

Look forward to hearing from you... 3DR

"falling away" in Christians.
It is because many are still 'babes in Christ' and are accustomed to being fed on a milk diet. They are unwilling to grow,to challenge this diet and to walk as a man/woman, and adult in Christ. So they, as things penetrate ,then blame it on God and not on the false teachers. So use this as an excuse to fall away. Just my opinion and so sad they do not partake of the blame. Then they become echos of those who rebel in denial.

Amazing. I know someone who has an at home study group with her family and friends around his book. But there was a discussion on this yesterday FYI

I do have to tell you that while I knew that Rick Warren's teachings had some major issues, I would have never expected to hear that he was a member of the Council of Foreign Relations. WOW! That is about as contradictory as it gets...

Vanished. Kaput. Sterilized. Cleansed.

Stay tuned for more on Rick Warren's ''Agenda-Driven Life'' in the coming days – sponsored, of course, by the Council on Foreign Relations.

abombI told those whom doubted that I would eventually find the proof that Rick Warren, did lie about what he said. Well, Here is the audio from that day and said proof.abomb

So, since Rick Warren claims he never said those things, let's just listen to Rick Warren hang himself in his own words shall we???thwak

Rick Warren called 'enabler and defender' of evil (Hear Rick Warren say Syria doesn't allow extremism of any kind!)

What more would you expect from a member of the CFR???1dunno1 Illuminati shill in the pulpit. How much more astray can the church go than that??? I truly feel sorry for those that have been duped into believing this guy. I almost did myself until another brother in the Lord showed me the truth about his teachings.

Warren is a CFR member and is deceptively helping to bring in the new world order. I wish Christians would wake up and smell the coffee instead of embracing this fraud
