Most not be socialism if it ain't working. Must be the fault of the US. All kidding aside. Why does your country make it impossible for a rich Anglo Saxon American to move to and become a citizen of your country when you guys are taking in third world dregs? I would like to get involved in politics in the freedom party of the osterreich. And just like Africa, amazingly rich in natural resources, it's run by brown people who couldn't organize a drink in a brewery, therefore it is damned to poverty until white people take it over. Brown people can rule themeselves quite ok.... if the two great opposing viewpoints would leave us alone. communists/capatalists. both vying for control of the countries resourcess through propaganda |

And no, IT IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE U.S. Neither is the pathetic situation in Cuba or North korea. And the reason Russia today is behind The West is because of their communist government which went from 1917 to 1990.Same with Eastern Europe from '45 to '89-90. Capitalism has it's faults, especially the way we practice it, at least as far as un-fair trade deals, globalization and our financial/banking sector, but it's FAR preferable to Marxism,Maoism, Communism or the 'socialism' practiced by places like Venezuela. |

The Cardón Refinery started operations in 1949 with capacity to refine 30 thousand barrels per day (4,800 m3/d). It was owned by Royal Dutch Shell. It currently handles 305 thousand barrels per day (48,500 m3/d).[5] The Amuay Refinery was established by Creole Petroleum in 1950. It started having a capacity of 60 thousand barrels per day (9,500 m3/d) and nowadays it can refine 645 thousand barrels per day (102,500 m3/d).[3] The Bajo Grande Refinery, built in 1956 by Richmond (now Chevron), has the capacity to refine 16 thousand barrels per day (2,500 m3/d).[5] In 1997, a joint venture of BOC Gases and Foster Wheeler built a 50 million cubic feet per day (1.4×106 m3/d) hydrogen production facility next to the Amuay refinery. This hydrogen facility was the largest in South America.[6] |

Quoting: Lady Jane Smith Because laziness and free stuff beats accountability and self reliance any day of the week. When socialism/communism/free stuff fails, which it will, it creates the primary favorite form of government for the power hungry that history has shown works, dictatorships, tyranny, despotism, etc. People ultimately don't fight it. They may bitch about it, but they don't fight it. Those with the money and guns always win. |

[link to www.bullshitexposed.com] Conclusion In a conclusion based on facts and hard numbers, we can see that Scandinavia is not an example of successful socialism by any measure. It’s not a terrible place to live, but it’s clearly not the utopia that liberals love to make it out to be. The above facts and figures prove that socialism did not make these countries great. These countries have small, homogenous populations, oil money and free markets. These countries do well despite high taxes, not because of high taxes. Plus, if you look around the world at true socialisms, you’ll see massive failures. Historically, socialism (and other forms of collectivism) has always resulted in poverty, starvation and widespread death. Scandinavians are fortunate that they don’t yet live in an all-out socialism. Last Edited by s. d. butler on 02/13/2016 09:12 PM |

In a surprising manner, 250 years emerges as the average length of national greatness. This average has not varied for 3,000years. The stages of the rise and fall of great nations seem to be: The Age of Pioneers , The Age of Conquests ,The Age of Commerce ,The Age of Affluence ,The Age of Intellect ,The Age of Decadence. Decadence is marked by: Defensiveness, Pessimism, Materialism,Frivolity An influx of foreigners The Welfare State A weakening of religion. Decadence is due to: Too long a period of wealth and power, Selfishness Love of money ,The loss of a sense of duty. The life histories of great states are amazingly similar, and are due to internal factors. Their falls are diverse, because they are largely the result of external causes. - Sir John Glubb The Fate of Empires We are at the end of the Age of Decadence heading into COLLAPSE |
