You can't expect the generally low IQ percentage of our population, which often joins the military and which much of the military grunts are comprised of, to behave as higher IQ people would behave. Why do you think it's so necessary for the military to have so many rules and regs? It's because the nature of the job tends to attract just that kind of person who would do those kinds of things. They're hired killers! You want hired killers plus Miss Manners? Ain't gonna happen.
