As the spirit/soul is an intangible, it does not comform to the whole time/space limits that we are subject to. The spirit is truly the human being, not the body. 2. That is the $64 question right there. I personally believe at the moment of conception, but I am sure others would disagree with me. It does not exist within the same "timespace" as the physical body. There is merely a transparent link between the two. Awareness can shift from the location of the physical body to the location of the "soul". This shift of awareness is the seed for all prophesy, all religion, albeit grossly misinterpereted and manipulated into the deformed mutant that it is today. 2) The soul actually enters into the physical body shortly after the first heartbeat of the physical body (is that toward the end of the first Trimester?). It is already known long in advance whether a baby will survive, and how long that lifespan will be. Souls select their vessel and their "physical liniage" according to their needs (of experiences that progress the development of the soul). |
egranny User ID: 161177 Hong Kong 11/22/2006 03:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "1) Where is the spirit/soul located in a human body?" In the whole body. Without the spirit and soul your body could not/would not live. It is the essence and intellect of your being and can not be confined to one area. "2)When does the spirit/soul enter into a baby?" At conception. If you remember, in the Bible, when Mary had conceived - the very next morning she went to her cousin Elizabeth's house to tell her what had transpired. When Elizabeth, who was six months pregant with John the Baptist saw Mary, John LEAPT in her womb for joy. He recognized the spirit/ soul within Mary's womb for who He was. Gal 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? Here in America - in GOD we still trust... Be silent! Be patient! Be quiet! Be Still! - And know that He is God. |

And as to the second question, there is only one unified field for a mother and foetus. After birth, the baby creates / has its own field. And of course it goes without saying, all fields are only local permutations of much larger (cosmically large) universal field. Call it "God" if you want. Any questions, you can find me out playing in the field (or is it out standing in the field?) |

Æon User ID: 160789 United States 11/22/2006 04:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Cartesian Dualism is rejected in philosophy. Obviously someone hasn't yet informed the hoi polloi. Look at your computer motherboard while it is running and ask yourself, where does your current operating system exist? Some may suggest that it is on the hard drive -- and that isn't entirely wrong, but that's not exactly what is running the show. It's what loaded into the circuitry at boot-up, and is analagous to your brain cells. Your operating system is loaded up at boot-time, and exists as an electrical field inside your computer's RAM. Likewise, your soul is a product of the energy created in your brain -- a field which surrounds your brain, otherwise known as your mind. Of course those who suggest that they have something in them which is somehow magically immortal will reject this analogy simply because they have a fear of death and their egos can't handle the truth of death and dying. They will create fantastic stories about souls and such which have absolutely no basis in reality. Ave Gæ , morituri te salutamus! |
Learner User ID: 161197 United States 11/22/2006 04:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The spirit that is put in man returns back to the creator at death. If anything, that is part of God's "soul". When the intelligent species of the sea die in the end of days, it is said that "every living soul in the sea dies". There are at least 240 "dead zones" in the sea where nothing can live. That number is growing daily. Man does not have a soul any more than the heart contains the evil propensities. The heart closely corresponds to the living soul. Many of these terms are interchangable in the Bible to mean the same thing. "It is not what goes into a man that defiles him, but what comes out of him". What proceeds from his "heart" or "soul" is what defiles man. Its all about symbology. |
