What I'm reading its not so much he will run away, its more that he will just not show up for trial and will have a crowd of gunmen on his property making it difficult for Federal Marshals to compel him to attend trial.

If I had to guess, I would suspect the judge heard arguments that Cliven could easily barricade himself on his land surrounded by militia. Thus creating another big news story making government look bad.

Reading the govt's document, I get the idea that anyone who was armed at the 2014 Nevada Bundy standoff who is still free might not be, some time in the future.

Just read a couple of pages so far. I can't believe they actually make this outlandish statements in court. This sounds like nothing more than a character assassination of Cliven Bundy. Just because we saw he is a "dangerous" person, you must keep him locked up!

We keep the dangerous, the flight risks and those who have great contempt for the law in jail until trial.

Exactly right. Obviously the OP doesn't know what he is talking about. The stuff the prosecutor will say to keep you locked up is always pure bullshit. If you ever said ANYTHING EVER, in your whole life about defending yourself with the 2nd amendment you will stay locked up until trial because you are "so dangerous". A matter of fact if you even said something they can make look like you said that, they will. And of course they aren't totally against flat out lying, though they prefer to twist the truth and take things out of context.

This is the same man now leading the charge to prosecute ranchers in Nevada for trying to make a peaceful living operating within the confines of the U.S. Constitution who protected their personal property from unlawful rustling by said BLM agents.

Ranchers who then protected their families under the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution when BLM agents assaulted family members including the tasering of a pregnant woman.

These would be state rallies all over the country, not one big rally. They haven't even set a date or advertised it yet.
