It seemed to me he was doing a kind of MST3K live-commentary on his life as he's driving and recording. Is he throwing his voice at 1:48 or is there someone else in the car? He's over-dramatic and sounds like he's having fun. This might just be his thing he does to entertain himself during his daily commute.
