Yet Jesus CLEARLY states that the "Father is God".

What you are doing is echoing the Catholic trinity that wasn't taught by the Apostles. Read this about "filioque" - a phrase added to the Nicence Creed in the late 6th century. This is the beginning of the "trinity" teaching.

1. Jesus NEVER says "I am God". The verse of "Before Abraham, I am" is taken out of context.

2. Thomas is the ONLY person in scripture to proclaim Jesus as "my God". ALL the others stated clearly that Jesus is the Son OF God.

3. Look up the word "filioque". 6th Century change to the Nicene Creed, which ultimately was a major reason the Orthodox Church broke away completely in 1054.

4. Several verses have been changed since the origianl manuscripts. Matthew 28:19 is negated by the Apostles stating that they baptise "in Jesus' name" - not a "trinity", which has no Biblical proof.

5. Finally, using the verse "the Father and I are one" as proof of the claim flies in the face of these verses that Jesus said.

Here's what I sent a pastor this morning, who knows and preaches Jesus is God, but believes Jesus was always eternally existing with God..

His title though, tells us, that he was begotten of God, as scripture states children begotten of their parents. He also claims to be the beginning (of creation) and the ending. All things were made by him and through him and for him, and without him was not anything made that was made. Jesus said God is a Spirit, and the scriptures say he is an invisible Spirit which no man has seen at any time. I proclaim that Jesus was the firstborn of all creation, begotten not made, the origin of matter, space, and time. Then through him the Spirit of God made all other things. Through him all other things were created, though he being creation was not created as all other things were created = through his voice, speaking the command; let there be. Before anything that can be named there was the invisible power that is called the Spirit of God. There was neither light nor dark, the best I can describe it was clear. The body of God, Christ, being the first thing in creation (begotten) is light, the glory of God. With light comes darkness, not spiritual darkness but of creation a duality so to speak. God did not have to create/make anything, at all ever, not even a Christ (body for himself). He did because he could, and wanted to. Therefore anything that can be named is not what God is, and since we can name light, light is part of creation, and God is greater than creation, therefore greater than light. So the first thing God made in creation was a body made of light for himself to fully dwell in and speak all other things into existence. Jesus himself said he proceeded forth from God, therefore there was a coming forth from, a beginning. Anyways, Jesus blesses you ...

GOD has made Jesus Christ his son judge so all will honor Jesus Christ as GOD is honored...so anyone who doesnt honor Jesus Christ as GOD is honored, is definitely not honoring THE FATHER who sent him...GOD wants you to honor his son the same way you honor him.

Father God wrote the 10 Commandments
Father God dictated most of the Torah to Moses.

Both the prophets of the Old Testament and the Apostles of the NT were INSPIRED to write what they did.

The Holy Spirit gave them help with the quotes of the Father (thus saith the LORD) and what Jesus is quoted as saying.

This is what scripture shows us.
