Yeah just like mercury. Sodium fluoride has many toxic chemicals in it including arsenic

There is no arsenic in sodium fluoride, which is an ionic compound of sodium and fluorine.

Op might have been implying that the source for sodium fluoride may not be pure sodium fluoride, or arsenic needs to be used as a catalyst, or is a byproduct from an intermediary reaction that does not get removed entirely in the final powder (or whatever) form of the sodium fluoride product.

that or OP doesn't understand chemistry too good.

The term “fluoride” is a cover-up name for many of the toxic chemicals that make up fluoride, including lead, arsenic, aluminum, cadmium, fluorosilicic acid and even radioactive materials.
