I don't like Obamacare and I want to get rid of it. But let's take a step back a second. I could be wrong, but my understand is that Obamacare was passed by our representatives in the House and Senate (Legislative Branch) and was also upheld by the courts (Judicial Branch). There are only two ways that Trump could get rid of it (or try to): back through the Legislative Branch or through Executive Order. Now, from his quote he seems to be implying that he is going to do something on day one. Which means he is planning on using Executive Order. It sounds like he is planning on ruling through Executive Order and either dissolving or ignoring the other branches of government (goodbye checks and balances) Executive Orders are supposed to be reserved for national security and emergency only.

It sounds like Trump is on his way to being a dictator or at least a tyrant with total disregard for the rule of law. And how is he going to get anything done if he goes the other route? Congress is not going to won't to work with him and block him in everything he does? Do you really think they will help him pass legislation to build a wall? Or approve funding for it? You might say oh well if that's what he has to do to get it done then he should do it because Hey Trump is our man. But it sets a dangerous precedent. If he does it; the next Obama or Democrat in office is going to have that power too. From then on we will be ruled by dictators and tyrants. There will be no more representative government not even as a show. What would this mean for the Constitution and the future of our nation? It'd be the end of it as we know it.

It's also disturbing to hear what some Trump supporters seem think about removing officials who were legitimately elected to represent the public. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. And you want to give him unlimited power? That's a big, big mistake that each and every one of you (of every political party) will regret.
