According to the latest video it has subsided and drifted eastward.

Is it unprecedented? Id like to see other years.

CO is the main component of naturally gas. The pressure in earth is squeezing the gas out, why? There was also SO gases. For such a large area to emit that much gas could only indicate a major movement of the subduction zone. Or an outside gravatational event, may be a gravity wave.
If we major elites leaving california soon then expect a shift. More than likely this is not on anyone's radar.
Someone should let the CIA know that a major CO eruption is occurring on the west coast so they can alert Obama and government. Time to get some cash out before it blows.

I can't acess the same data as op as you have to register to use it. I assume op has registered and downloaded software. The op has a access to something that could change our lives for ever. This is a good indication that a major shift is occurring now. The authorities should start making moves to preserve major assets now. Unless they are calibrating satellite the world will change very soon.

Maybe "explosion" is the wrong wrong. CO is toxic and inhibits the uptake of oxygen; would not CO have a very noticeable effect on humans at concentrations well below what could be ignited, e.g., explosive...

More likely, I think, is natural gas / methane burning somewhere and producing CO as a byproduct, which is dispersing into the air.

Anyone else find it strange that this happened almost immediately after they plugged the porter ranch methane leak?

"Carbon monoxide" being a pretty key thing here.

Carbon monoxide is explosive. Carbon Dioxide is the by product which is not explosive.

I think the title of this thread is misleading for sure.
OP should change it in the interest of clarity.
When I first read it, I thought something blew up and it was related to the LA methane leak.
