UHM..carbon monoxide is NOT combustible. its what'sleft over after combustion.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70617131 Incorrect.. Combustion is defined as highly exothermic oxidation. CO (carbon monoxide) oxidizes/combusts to CO2 (carbon di-oxide). It can pick up another O molecule. Hence, CO is what's left over after incomplete combustion. Basic chemistry. It's what you get from a choked or wet flame, or a car engine. Check wikipedia- CO is EU-classified as "Highly Flammable" as well as "Very Toxic" Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70472325 Wow thanks; I'm no chemist....I stand corrected; I'll have to look into it..Sorry. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70617131 I think the title of this thread is misleading for sure. OP should change it in the interest of clarity. When I first read it, I thought something blew up and it was related to the LA methane leak.
