We're all living in the home where one parent abandoned us and the other parent is a fucking mess that's too busy being strung out to notice how filthy the place is, cockroaches crawling everywhere, how anybody stopping by are as unstable as the strung out parent. Do you think a child will thrive in that dysfunctional environment or do you think that child will be poisoned by that environment?

So we're in a dysfunctional existence and we're supposed to be thriving and will be blamed and judged because we didn't thrive and act as if we never grew up in the middle of dysfunction?


And then I go back to that above example. How many people in that example realize "I need to get out of here as soon as I can because this environment is like a hand shooting up out of a grave and it's going to try it's damndest to drag me down into that grave with it." and it's actually done? The person graduates from high school and flees as soon as they get the diploma? And they're never going back to that toxic environment?

How many people in this world do you think feel the way some of us do on this thread? This existence is like a hand shooting out of a grave and it always wants us in the grave with it. How many have felt that way since a very young age? You can leave a dysfunctional/toxic home but it seems like completely leaving a dysfunctional/toxic system is a bit harder, if it can even be done. I'm not gonna lie to myself and say "All this shit is some master plan." No. I don't buy it.
