Here it is...It was Voltaire...I misquoted it changing
the "wooden shoes" to Leather boots (I think it works
better since it refers to the military--like the situation
with Athens and Sparta.
I have to write a history paper analyzing this quote by Voltaire. When you don't know what it means...it can be pretty hard. Could somebody give me a meaning to this quote?
