Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71616992 Interesting you should post this, A.C.6992.
Family watched the movie just last night...with the
great actor Ewan McGregor called: "The Impossible." It is a NO-HOLDS-BARRED movie that is NOT for just
everyone--it is very graphic--but is a MUST WATCH if
you are wondering what a tsunami experience might be
like, living on in a seismic area such as the Pacific
NW. The film--beautifully and tastefully filmed--
follows a Swedish family who was unfortunately on
holiday when the 2004 Sumatra Christmas quake/tsunami
--and what they went through. It was a true story. It won
the Toronto Film Festival Award for 2012.

I'll tell you right now, it is very graphic and it could
be considered depressing (although...the ending was
refreshing) account of WHAT it is like to go through
an earth-changes disaster.
Just a side-note...there is ore than enough documented
EVIDENCE to date that the Sumatra quake/tsunami which
happened in 2004 was caused by a record-breaking gamma
ray burst (and gravitational wave-impact on Earth) form
a neutron star eruption in the Crab Nebula. It is interesting
that Sumatra just went through a very large 8.2 pt. quake
(Asian numbers, NOT USGS who is fudging everything) AT
THE SAME TIME as a very unusual solar coronal hole which
just caused a level 3 Geomagnetic storm this weekend.
You can read about the space-link with the 2004 Sumatra
quake/tsunami on page 320 of Dr. Paul Lavoilette's book:
"Earth Under Fire."
So...There you are, a synchronicity with your post,
A.C. And by watching the movie "IMPOSSIBLE"...I can
see why their recent experience with the tsuanmi and
quakes would give them a feeling of "dread" with the
"death planet." Thank you for your post.
