We have movies like SuicideSquad and Deadpool now, much more identifiable than some old Cop. There is no need for good guys to go after the bad guys anymore.

The original story was a surreal bi-lingual drama, reminiscent of Pan's Labyrinth and Irreversible, that focused on child abuse, violence towards women, mass incarceration, and police violence committed under the color of authority. However, the executives at Lionsgate Premiere thought they had been sold a Keanu Reeves cop-thriller. To increase the film's potential box office, during the editing process Lionsgate changed the story's focus to center on Reeves' character, and changed the film into a generic crime-thriller. Gee Malik Linton is the director of the film, but is listed under the pseudonym of Declan Dale

Yea... sorry Keanu, but worst actor ever. Totally wooden and unnatural.

When I watch a good actor ( Val Kilmer, Kevin Spacey, Ethan Hawke, etc. ) I lose sight of the fact that it is the actor playing a role and just see the person as they exist in the movie.

When I watch anything with Keanu, it is always and only Keanu stiffly pretending to be a cop, or Keanu stiffly pretending to be Neo, etc.,. He is not even close to suspending any disbelief, ever.

I'm not surprised. He is one of the worst well payed actors in Hollywood. I can't stand to watch his movies solely due to the bad acting.

Meh, I don't doubt the movie sucks, but at least he can actually shoot well and he says he's not "fundamentally" against the second amendment.

I wouldn't call him a huge second amendment supporter, but at least he's not a complete freaking hypocrite like most of those assholes who make huge sums of money off of films heavily featuring gun fights. Sadly that's about as good of an endorsement as you can get out of Hollywood these days.

That's why I'm seeing this novie, and anything Mel Gibson directs.
