Here's a program which can do the job! Want to chase UFOs with enough magnification and resolution to see the alien inside staring back at you? Then here's the program for you! This software will allow a GOTO-enabled telescope to automatically track and follow objects in the sky and allow for much higher resolution imaging than is normally possible with handheld cameras. You can maneuver the telescope manually using a joystick, and then designate a target for the software to automatically follow either with the joystick trigger or the click of a mouse. I'm getting closer to a point where I can start releasing the program for other people to test with their systems and their telescopes. If you have a Meade or Celestron telescope equipped with GOTO capability and want to participate in beta testing, let me know. Oh very cool! Thanks Doc! "Sir, are you classified as human?" "Negative. Here's a program which can do the job! Would it be possible to make the program recognise what something is? For example, if it's pointing at the ISS but for some reason the user didn't know it was the ISS, the program does? Or is that something that isn't possible? Also, do you have autism? |

Here's a program which can do the job! Dr. Astro, i perceive that you have somewhat shifted your views to the left over the past year. Am i right or am i leftfield in my thinking/perception of your shift toward acceptance of ufo's as an unknown off world technology, and possibility that a nibiru type planet lurks just outside our actual galaxy or is concealed by some other planetary body but slowly heading in our general direction. You may know or not since i rarely sign in these days that I have seen no less than 10 different types of ufo's (most were in broad daylight) of very different constuction, everything from the traditional disc type, which our whole family witnessed float silently over our car and stop over pasture slowly rotate its giant lights around to direct them as if on us and descend down quite silently to land in the field turning off every light to the point of pitch darkness, to a neon green disc silently floating over my house at 3:00 am. You see the very first sighting (the landing) was way back in the early 70s and was the start of my almost yearly visit from so many different type of craft I almost can't remember them all. But Im a man of science too. I believe in cold hard scientific results, similar to you, yet I cant deny my spitual side either, since it to has greatly made a physical impact in my life. There was everything in between, two black "acorn" shaped craft also daytime sighting being chased by what can only be describd as an unmarked black military helicopter, and when it got too close for the crafts liking the acorns ascended from about 10k feet to around 50k in a matter of a few seconds blowing away any chance of the helicopter following. The strangest was a sheer sheet looking shape shifting ufo, again a daytime sighting with multiple witnesses, so strange that one of them ran to his car to get his binoculars for a closer look. The last and most recent was a giant mother ship shaped like a fat cigar that was onl visable due to the lower atmosphere smog hanging over the city, which allowed rhe outline to be seen as it ros skyward at an approx. 45 degree angle. I remember hinking to myself, no wayndid that just happen, yet it did. I dont know why i was allowed to see so many of the differing craft, perhaps several of our family members were taken aboard that first craft? As we actually drove to a closer spot to walk up to it, we were pretty much fearless back then, and all I remember was a huge rush of very strong wind out of nohere which kind of spooked us, and we all piled back in the car and took off. Needless to say I have changed my opinion about what they "the aliens" actually are, and feel it makes he most logical sense considering all the evidence. So am I right? Do you now believe in ufos as an unkwown type of highly advanced craft? And if so, what are your thoughts on the pilots of these craft. I realize its not easy to admit nor is it career advantageous to admit you believe, but its rather freeing when you do, and your in very good company of late. Im hoping NASA will shortly come clean with all the information they have as it really maks them look somehat silly to keep covering up all the ufo craft that have visited the ISS and many astronauts while in space. So what if we faked the moon landings, I understand the very important dynamics of doing so. And if we didnt, who helped us get there and back considering the VARB problem and early technological hurdles we had to overcome. I think if we did go there we had help....yes from the "aliens" no less. |

[link to www.bbc.com] So it must be easy to show us that space junk with your telescope... and please don't come with the ISS... since we all know it doesn't exist... show us Satellites and other space junk. Here's a program which can do the job! How does it stack up against the coupling of Stellarium and an EQ telescope software, that allows to track with either sidereal, custom, or lunar speed. That combination has existed for years and works wonderful for me. I blame the tracking errors and the need for a tracking camera addition on the lousy polar alignment of my setup. Now if someone would create a software that would make polar alignment super-easy I'd use my telescope a lot more!
