Which year did females all start wearing pants rather than skirts/dresses?
Whenever you watch old black & white movies from the 50's and even 60's the females always wore skirts or dresses. It just dawned on me today that every female wears pants now and it's almost as if we didn't notice it. It's quite ugly when you think about it. No wonder this culture seems so unbecoming. It's quite ugly out there.

The same time men stopped wearing suits, nice slacks with sweaters and dress shirts. Think Don Draper. Men dressing in sloppy t-shirts, baseball caps, saggy or tight jeans and shorts (the worst) should also go back to the day of when men knew how to dress. Women would follow if men stepped up their game.

They changed the dress code at my high school so girls could wear trousers in 1969.

Apparently, after reading about it, it was the fucking French asshole designers that started in with woman's pants suits and shit. Then these female politicians started wearing them. Women should have never been allowed to vote. They will be the end of us.

Re: Which year did females all start wearing pants rather than skirts/dresses?
There was no "specific" year. It was a gradual thing. Women wearing pants started mostly in the 40's, and then gained traction from there.

I think skirts and dresses are MUCH more comfortable, especially in the warm weather, but that's me.
I don’t suffer fools or shills lightly...

It was late 1969 and early 1970 when women were allowed to wear "pantsuits" to work. But the top had to cover her butt. That's how it started. Eventually it morphed into what it is today and getting more casual than ever.

Yeah this jew C**T pushed real hard to "free" our white females.
1966 Twenty-eight women, among them Betty Friedan, founded the National Organization for Women (NOW) to function as a civil rights organization for women. Betty Friedan became its first president. The group is now one of the largest women's groups in the U.S. and pursues its goals through extensive legislative lobbying, litigation, and public demonstrations

I don't know where you see all females wearing pants, but in my office ...

I wear pants 2-3 days a week and skirts the rest, as do most women at my office.

Most working women's wardrobe is about an even split, I'd say. At my kids' school functions, you can tell which moms just came from office work because we're either wearing skirts/dresses or nice slacks and heels.

Females required to wear dresses to school until the mid 70's

That's when Grandmas started wearing pants to stay warm in the winter

My great grandma wore pants the first time in 1975

We were shocked

Re: Which year did females all start wearing pants rather than skirts/dresses?
i find dresses flatter me best and are the most comfortable. but there are some ladies out there who do look best in pants and are not flattered by dresses. (not the majority) we are lucky that we have the option to choose.

clothing manufacturers now mostly serve us up formless, classless, throw-away clothing.

dresses are unique. they come in much more diverse sizes and styles and are not as easy to design or produce.

the other day i got off the elevator at a department store and thought i was in the men's department. mostly everything was black and mostly everything was made with straight lines. not a dress in sight. what wasn't black was red/black plaid. i was in the women's department.

it can be a struggle to find feminine clothing right now.
