OP please rename this thread and remove DRINKING from the title. Scrump's drinking problem has hurt a lot of people and it is no joking matter.
We can't force Scrump to get sober but let's not enable his alcoholism either. Please rename the thread and please keep Scrump in your prayers. Pray that the Lord will free Scrump from the curse of alcoholism.

I've noticed that the last 10 years has demonized drinking... and that causes shame... which shouldn't be forced upon anyone. Maybe we can start an Intervention thread to let Scrump know how much we care about him and encourage him to get help for his drinking problem. So what? We set up a slush fund? "Keep Scrump Pumped" or something? How about a 'sloshed' fund? we all can get sloshed.
