This is the real Reptile eye on Dollar Bill.

If you look at the (4) 1s on the G Washinton side the top two are differant as the owl is in the corner of the shield on top right hand (1).As this signifies to the initiate that there is something there.
The bottom two (1s) are also differant althought very slightly as this is the only way to create the eye image.
