No I don't believe in corporate slave labor. If someone is caught stealing multiple times then they should be banished from society. Society has rules and if anyone can't abide by those rules then they need to leave. The world would be better off turning Africa into a prison continent and banishing all butt holes to that continent. |

Petty theft is just that..petty. Sometimes its someone trying to get a damn loaf of bread and bologna to feed their family with. I can relate to that. Life fucking sucks sometimes and someone is forced to make a decision that either they can get away with or will face the consequences. 10 years in jail for taking a loaf of bread that is going to spoil on a shelf in 4 days anyways and be "thrown away" as trash is beyond insane. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34404134 So you believe if someone breaks in to your house and just takes food they shouldn't be punished? Yet if you walked in on them, they would probably kill you so you can't identify them. Or if they get away with it once, why not try for the jewelry and silver next time. Then maybe home invasion next time. Or if you are a woman and walk in on them, they figure what the hell, I'm going to kill her anyway, might as well rape her first. Maybe a little sadistic torture. It's a big can of worms you're opening up here. I will and am the first one to help anyone. The homeless or less fortunate of my friends or acquaintances. But someone breaks into my home, I will shoot them if its a home invasion or I feel threatened. And I will detain them for prosecution if possible. |

The thief should be made to pay for what was stolen by a factor of ten. Steal something worth $100, thief repays $1000, if they can't pay with money then they become the victim's Nagger until the debt is satisfied. I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. I will, under protection of law, use lethal force if attacked. |
