Hostage John Cantlie appears in new ISIS video

Captive British journalist John Cantlie appeared for the first time in more than a year in an ISIS propaganda video released Saturday in which he mocks President Obama.

The war photographer, who was captured in 2012 and has appeared on several videos for the terror group, ridicules American efforts to destroy ISIS.

The gaunt, black-clad Cantlie points to the twisted remains of what he says was a cheap media kiosk in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.

“It’s been flattened by the collective might of the American war machine,” he says sarcastically. “One has to ask oneself why bother? Is it a ruse by the CIA to somehow undermine the Islamic State’s message to the Muslims in Mosul and therefore somehow diminish their control of the city?”
