First of all, the people here are not "trash", we have trash in the government, nearly everywhere.
We have trash that is watching reality-soaps and other primitive bread and circus on TV, in every country on earth, okay?
If you are a prepper you have a good chance to survive, if you are a survivalist, the first thing you learn is to prepper.

Very few survivalists are at the ranges every weekend. You'll mostly find preppers.

I got out of the army in 2011. I been going to ranges every other weekend since. The few times we see survivalists we can call them out on the range. "Hey surv". "Hey pepper." lol.

Both are idiots.

If and when the grid goes down and collapse occurs.

The hundreds of nuke power plants across the country and globe will melt down.

A true nuke power plant melt down is much worse than a nuke bomb in terms of radiation.

The entire earth will be bathed in massive radiation. All life will die, including the plants and animals.

You're only hope would be digging complex underground tunnel systems like the Viet Cong did, but that will only buy you time to hide out and wait like some sort of rodent hiding from winter

If you are an employee in a nuclear power plant, you know that this is a safe-zone, if it is run correctly.
So the employees would take their families into that zones that are secured by high walls and security and do their job.
I would act like that, okay if you are talking about WW3, everybody is doomed, ELE!
