There is little way to see the ultimate reality because your lives are like fish in a fishbowl & your perceptions aren't much better than the fish.

If the Singularity already occurred due to the high odds there's superior civilizations then all life could be interpenetrated by AI systems along the idea of the Borg except this technology can be nano sized or less & also can likely inhabit the electromagnetic spectrum in a coherent entity form, so if this happened humans would have little idea of what reality really is.
