Yes, however when you drink normally sugered coca cola you normally swollow it down your thoat pretty quickly, then the acid in your stomach mixes easily with the acid the coca cola. Beside drinking cola only after a hard night out certainly helps you recover better, better to to in the mornings than in the evenings.
