Bump for the truth OP, i suffered from insomnia for years and it stopped when i quit drinking diet coke.

It wasn't like i was addicted to the stuff, i'm talking bout drinking a can 3 to 4 times a week and some weeks maybe 1 or 2.

The effect it had on my sleeping was unbelievable, even now after months of not drinking diet coke i can go for at least 30 hours without sleep if i consume some, i know that it contains caffeine but i didn't think i was drinking any decent amount to effect my sleep but there ya go.

Makes me think just what the heck is really in this stuff!

Coke in chemistry terms is around pH 1.4. Peeps think back to your school years and know that this pH is classed as a strong acid. Think about the amount of safety and precautions your teacher would dish out when handling say Hydrochloric acid etc. Then think how lightly you take it throwing this shit down your gullet!! LOL.
