If you go to Real Clear politics it shows a new Wisconsin poll done by Optimus . Trump 31 Kasich 29 Cruz 27
Also shows that the undecided are breaking for Kasich & Trump . I agree though that these polls are not factoring in the democrat & independent .

Thanks for the comment. Well, your thoughts remind me of how well Trump did in Michigan. Seems like he should do just as well in Wisconsin. I don't see how Cruz could do well in such a state. Baffles me.

Are you talking about the Emerson Poll and the one from The Washington Free Beacon?

Both polls have very small samples and what that usually means is they poll enough to get the result they want. The mere fact that Limbaugh is having cruz-asms over these polls should tell you something.

The Washington Free Beacon's managing editor is Bill Kristol's son-in-law and something tells me he will come up with whatever results his father-in-law tells him is desirable...

Thanks Davvi. So this means they are driving a false narrative. That's what I thought. Cruz appeals to hard right religious folks which doesn't exactly describe the Wisconsin electorate. Were those the same polls Fox News was hyping?

It's an open primary which should play to Trump's strengths.

I have to think back to South Carolina (I think it was), where the media touted specifically the WSJ/NBC poll which also showed Cruz in the lead and then a lot of other media jumping on board with really obscured polls to claim the same. FOX news also ignored their own poll to promote the WSJ poll.

Limbaugh talked about it 3 hours a day everyday for several days before the primary and of course Trump won. I think they do this to inject some interest in their reporting. How boring would it be to report Trump Wins over and over again? I mean I would love it, but how many others would tune out?

Ahhh, okay, that makes total sense. I guess I was just baffled because Trump had such huge leads in Florida, Illinois, and Arizona. I couldn't understand how all of a sudden Cruz was pulling ahead in a northern state like Wisconsin. Didn't add up. But yeah, I had forgotten about all the hype in the days leading up to SC that suggested Trump might do as well as some thought. And of course he did.

The Wisconsin electorate seems primed to play to Trump's strengths so I'm expecting him to pull ahead by a comfortable margin come the April 5th primary.

Just like the polast that show hillary beating trump, and Cruz and Kasich doing better than trump, it is because they only poll registered Republicans, not independents, cross over Democrats, first time voters, etc...

Trump has the most diverse voters which makes him the strongest candidiate, the one who will win the white house.

This is why everyone is trying to stop him, if they went by these polls, then they wouldn't even worry about stopping trump.

Trh nm please is the most powerful and they know it, you will not hear anyone on MSM, try and explain these polls because they want everyone to believe that trump would lose to hillary.

But Theyou can't explain how trump has 2 million more voters than cruz, 4 million more than Kasim have but would lose to hillary while Kasich and Cruz would beat her, how's that?

I am glad that it is an open primary and not a caucus. Caucuses are die-hard republican insiders and Trump never does well in those.

I juts know that if the repuke party pulls a fast one. I will write in Trump's name and ignore the rest of the ballot. Then I will wash my hands of politics for good as there wouldn't be any point in participating any longer.

This whole primary season has been amazing at exposing the phonies and liars. Limbaugh, Levin, Shapiro, just to name a few are insiders and liars.

Nate Silver, the master poll aggregator, has consistently been giving the booger eater an 85% chance to win Wisconsin.

Cruz must win Wisconsin to remain relevant.
