gold-tards, check out this million dollar coin
[link to online.kitco.com (secure)]

minted by Canada, it is 3,125 Ounces/100KG 99999 pure gold - and sold by KITCO

not sure if the Mounties come with it ...

for sure, it won't fit in your pocket - but you could roll it to the market - when inflation really takes hold, and you wouldn't need a wheelbarrow

or you could use it for the front wheel of your wheel barrow - you won't need it to carry your loaf of bread home.

There are way too many points on those leaves.
Real maple leaves don't have so many points. But the Canadian mint is run by liberal psychopath retards.

The new Cdn $20 bill has a thing on it commemorating the Queen's historic reign - longest reigning monarch ever.

It says "A Historic Reign"

Being a 'hit-tip' to the Queen, you would think the idiots would at least use proper English and correctly write it as "AN Historic Reign". But they are Canadian retards, so what do you expect.

correct me if I am wrong, but the "an" only replaces an "a" if the next word starts with a vowel (in the US)

Face value is 1 million , but there is almost 4 million in gold at spot. I would bet it sells for around 4.1 to 4.5 million

No.
In proper English, there are certain times when you use AN before words that start with 'h'.
Like "It is AN honor to be here tonight"
It's not "a honor"
The proper and correct way to say it is "An historic reign" but most people today don't know proper English.

THANKS ... personally I wouldn't own anything with the queen's picture on it because IMO that makes it "blood money" ... I stick with the Buffalo meme on all my PMs ...

never heard of such an outrageous level of purity on anything that big

They made 5 of these coins.

'...five coins were produced, they are extremely rare and valuable. The current owners of these coins are Queen Elizabeth II; a Boris Fuchsmann; Oro Direct, a Spanish gold trading company; and two anonymous individuals in Dubai. The Bode Museum in Berlin has housed one example in its Münzkabinett since 2010, loaning it from Fuchsmann.'

at today's "spot prices" It would be worth 3,945,448

but it is a numismatic (uncirculate proof) coin (rare - only 5 minted) - and a work of (collective) Art - not just bullion ... no telling what it goes for (or who owns the others, because you don't have to "register" gold coin sales.
