Quoting: ShortStop Watch this video "Riding a c90 through Iran" Quotes from the video: Everybody wants to talk to you and be friendly. Always a perfect road surface. Stopped for fuel, invited to lunch, not charged for food or petro. Always someone happy to see you. Every car that went passed waved and asked where I was from. Even at police and military checkpoints they bring out tea and cigarettes and talk to you. Never far away from free food and drink. My favorite country by far, the people are endlessly, relentlessly friendly. And the woman are hot! [link to m.youtube.com (secure)] 100% misled. I think 90% of what anyone knows about Iran was taught to them by the media. They have a great track record of lying sacks of crap. You are the CEO of your own wellness. You need to take back your health from the disease-care system |

I spent 3 months in Jordan just living among the people. They would feed you, grab clothes from their own closet for you, share anything they had. Always gracious, always kind. I wrote letters back to the family in the US telling them what they think they knew was all wrong. I do...definitely do....know there are some not so good ones. High majority are remarkable honorable and kind. |

Brilliant and hard working too. Lucky son. Persian women high quality. Her father fled when the Ayatollah took over in the 80's. Raised his children in his wife's religion too- Catholic. The Iranians I met at the wedding were great people. |

The Iranians that I've met consider themselves Persians and not Arabs. They are very adamant about making this distinction. They actually do not seem to like Arabs. |

I don't think I have ever met a Persian who isn't offended by that distinction.. lets not forget that they are generally Shitte and the Arabs generally Sunni, so you have that additional layer of Religious conflict going on.. |

The Persians I know make that distinction, how are English, Scottish and Welsh people different? the populations have been moving around thousands of years.. yet there is still a distinction where they consider themselves different and would be offended if you called any of them by one of the other labels.. |
