Re: Anyone Frequent "Mall World" In Their Dreams
So, I have lost track of who posted this map but I have added some things to it. The person who spoke of "Seahurst" clicked big time with me. I have added some elements I have seen in Seahurst and expanded the map both north and south. I have included the odd, calm, bay or pond type area with small quaint cabins on stilts, an amphitheatre, a monorail/aquaduct type element, and a casino/hotel. Let me know if any of this rings a bell for any of you. Sorry for the large size but I couldn't think of a better way to do this quickly.

Re: Anyone Frequent "Mall World" In Their Dreams
...
Im not sure what it actually is, its not tied to belief.
 Quoting: beetard 29391130

I think it can tie to belief, in that beliefs set expectations, and to that extent beliefs act like 'filters' on our dream awareness.

On the other hand, it doesn't appear to me that beliefs authorize/deny anyone from visiting there.

...
when i've read the texts, its because, basically, the universe is already over. We live in stories, and memories, true and untrue, of something long gone. And the programs self correct, in some way, that preserves some degree of vitality.
...
 Quoting: beetard 29391130

Do you mean texts you've read at mall/university world?
Which ones? Are they available at the library?

I read advanced physics books when I go there, and while I don't generally retain what I learn, I know who some of the authors are (Pauli for example).

In my last dream there Pauli was individually instructing me at a room on the campus. I remember taking away from the dream how his intellect was vastly superior to mine. While it may sound conceded, I can count on one hand people I've met in the real world who have left the same impression on me.

In case anyone is into advanced physics, he was teaching me how the 'action' is more fundamental than 'energy' is in determining causal behavior of matter, in mathematical form of course.

In other words, modern physics focus on 'energy' is limiting it's advancement.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 61625577

Yes texts in the place. It can be difficult, as some texts are secondary dreams. Some only exist as you read, if you go back a page, or forward, the letters are shifting and unformed.

Yes, it CAN be tied to belief. People that tend to accept its reality, and therefore, are able to process the information/reality, tend to come from faiths that allow for either dream revelation, or other levels of communication in their faith. I've noted: Mostly non catholic pentecostal christians, Some mormons, some muslims, Far fewer new agers then one would expect, an over representation of Carlos castaneda inspired proto new agers, small numbers of wicca/etc people.

Most people are non determinant. I only identified those groups becasue i've run into people interacting and speaking to others as if they are characters or figures from their individual belief systems.

None of it matters in that, from my perspective, they are all in the same few places. Most just see it as that.

Actually, i was just making the point you made, about filters on beliefs, to another, on this topic.

Re: Anyone Frequent "Mall World" In Their Dreams
The dream group i mentioned is a subsection of this website. the website itself is based on Carlos Castaneda stuff. Which is fairly typical for people when they try googling shared dreaming etc to find, as he wrote about it quite a bit. The main site is like this one, full of people with opinions, thoughts on things i dont care about, etc. There is a subsection there though on dreaming, which may have some of this written in it, probably by me. Since neither of us are registered users, ill just put the link up if anyone is interested.

Last post ill make on this, i dont want to spam. But i read a bit more, curio/antique shop is also a location, i found 8 recorded dreams in my thread on it (dozens and dozens about mall/university, perhaps 100) Curio shop was a central location in mine from 2012-2014 it seems.

You also mentioned:

OP Here Again:

Add this to the imagery representative of some of the places in this world: "Sub basement Hidden Room and Tunnel", Dilapidated World, dusk at The Akashic Records and Antique Shop.

The atmosphere in the photo captures the feeling of these places to a tee:

All of those are also locations, some of them i used as titles. I am interested in why you associate "dusk" with the "records". Those also i and others have seen as being related. Kinda cool to see it here as well. :)

Re: Anyone Frequent "Mall World" In Their Dreams
This is mindblowing. I have had recurring dreams about Mall World and Campus / Dorm World for a couple years. I can't get over how specific these shared details are. The mall's movie theater, the integrated hotel, the department store that is several levels (I think it's like 6 floors? It's dizzying and I kind of hate ending up in there) the endless bathrooms with little or no privacy. I usually walk but have floated in the theater and department store.

I also dreamed I moved into the Dorm and it was beautiful. It was like an apartment, I was sharing space with 3 or 4 other young ladies. We had our own bedrooms off a big shared area, a white room with a sunken sitting area. Had a huge wall of windows and french door that opened onto a balcony overlooking a giant blue pool. I could see lots of other young people hanging out around it. The dorm building itself was white or grey and modern with art deco stained glass or plexiglass railings. They had a red, blue and clear geometric pattern on it.

I had gotten to a point a year or so ago where I dreamed of Mall World so much I'd be like, "The mall again? Why can't I go somewhere else?" I agree with what some have said, Mall World / Campus World dreams are always memorable and feel different from usual dreams.

I don't think I've ever been to the basement level, or Seahurst or Amusement Park World. I have been in the woods and had a rare nightmare experience.

Please keep this thread up, it's fascinating.

This is really similar to what the dorm room looked like, minus the sunken seating area. The view is spot on, a breathtaking view of bright blue water.

Wow! That's almost a perfect representation, thank you! I think the dorm room was bigger but the walls, flooring and doors are exactly like the ones that lead off to the bedrooms. I don't recall what the ceiling looked like. Just needs a big window wall.

I'll also add I've never watched the original Star Wars movies so I haven't seen this place.

I was thinking about this thread this morning. I was wondering if anyone else here seems to have been locked out of these worlds since participating in this thread?

Since being blown away and participating in it, my "mall word" and "city" have completely changed...it's a very specifically "new" place. There is no more crazy highway, no more casino, and a completely different city center/mall than before. It's a cleaner, bigger, brighter city with less esoterica and less familiarity. but oddly enough it does involve an elevator entrance to the "scene".
 Quoting: McNulty

I was thinking the same thing when this thread first started but I have gone there recently again.

I am going there much less. I'm not really dreaming much at all though, or remembering much about my dreams, which is weird for me.

But I've been there atleast twice in the past couple weeks that I can remember fairly well. A few things were exactly the same as always. The parking lot, the highway, one particular annex of the mall where the larger department store is - just to name a few. It's still there.

I wanted to mention.....

I recently revisited a a large field near the/a large high school (not the college). There's always a lot of cars and trucks in the field. The field is surrounded by a tall tree line. It's not too far from a large park. Near a busy residential area. Can anyone relate to that? Been there many times before.

A notable thing for me about that area is the street lights. They is nothing special in design of the lights but there is a distinct warm glow on the streets from them. I've seen the same glow in another more urban area with a long street that has a lot of small storefronts. Because of that lighting, I assume the areas may be sort of close, in the same district...

I drove from the field on the highway to the mall in my last dream, so it's all definitely in the same "realm" for me.

It's actually from
"Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back"

[link to www.dvdactive.com]
[link to files.starwarsuncut.com]

The bright lighting and blue sky. Imagine Dorm World like this room interconnected to many other similar open rooms with bright daylight streaming in. And Put Dorm World right by the sea-side, or actually make it a huge craft resting on the water near the boardwalk of a futuristic city, like Mall World/Hotel World.

See my oder posts about the large floating city/craft.

Glad others want to talk about this. There's another location I wanted to ask you guys about. It's an underground area, I believe it's below Campus World / Dorm World. It has a huge, hollow metal sphere that juts out over a large empty space. A waterfall pours over it and standing inside the sphere, the sound of the water is deafening. The sphere is made of a certain metal--Anyone else know it?

No giant sphere/waterfall in my underground area. There is an underground/sub-level food warehouse (see previous posts with links to representative photos). It may be connected to some kind of industrial lab area which also connects to office areas.

Still hoping someone will also know the sphere waterfall place. It felt kind of important. I was there with a group of young people, presumably Campus World students, on a tour.

Went to mall world last night/this morning. It seemed same as usual. Ended up looking at some cute Pokemon plush toys. Was lucid enough I could count my fingers on my hands. My only clue it was a dream was that I floated when I jumped.

At the end of the tour was a grand celebration for those few whose trials took a great toll for friends/family. It was as if they were previously shown a grand explanation for the meaning of the test, and were present to express thier gratitude.

OP Here Again:

Search the thread for my "Commander Data" quote and you'll find this from one of posts on page 9:

OP Here again -

Here are all my posts from a thread I wrote somewhere else 6 years ago...

My dream:

I'm in what could be described as a mall. It's ornate though. Marble floors, marble walls. It reminded me of the emerald city from The Wizard of Oz, but not emerald in color. Just the opulence of it. It isn't exactly a mall either, but I can see how it might feel like a mall. It has the same expansive and multi-leveled feeling of being in a mall, but more like a self contained city. There is a winding staircase. On a floor of an area of this enclosed city is a film theater. There are doormen at the doors to the entrance. It's a one screen theatre, not a multi-plex. I peer inside and see the theatre is filled with people that I fancy are watching a summary of my life, and are making some kind of judgement, or scoring me as when a teacher scores an exam. I find my way back down the stairs to an exit. There seem to be no people anywhere in this enclosed city-like place. Only in the theatre. The dream then shifts and I'm outside of the city. I'm standing on the other side of some type of fence that borders the city. It seems to be built up on on a large hill/crest/mountain?. It seems like it might be near a coast.

*****As I stand there, Cmdr. Data from ST:TNG aproachs me, or I apraoch him and ask him what this place is, or something to that effect. Then I wake up, or dream something else. This was something like 20 years ago. So... what the hell?*****

I think it was a guy giving the tour. Don't remember anything specific about him, sorry.

Say, those of you who know the Mall World department store that's several levels. Are the escalators in the front, middle or back of the store?

Mine is the University. The elevators are for shit. One even swings all over the place and scares the crap out of me.

The best part I remember is going down the stairwell, both hands on the railings, and jumping all of the steps, so it's like taking one huge step for each flight.

Re: Anyone Frequent "Mall World" In Their Dreams
I've been trying to find pictures that remind me of Mall World. So far I've only found two that brought up a similar feel. Both pics are from the Mall of Scandinavia. The first one, minus the planter and tan flooring in the middle is pretty close.

This second one shows some stores in the middle of the mall. I often will cut through a store on say, the left side and come out on the right side into a different area.
