had my throat cut when i was a kid by some black men who wanted to kill a white person. it was out in the middle of nowhere, i was walking back from a friends house who was black. their mom told her older brother to follow me and make sure I got home safe and he intervened before they could finish the job and saved me. they had been out there drinking and then I came walking up out of nowhere and they thought it was a great oppornity. growing up white in the south has always been very dangerous, you had to be very vigilent even as a small child.
