I'm up in Washington. I am sensitive to stuff like solar flares (get very particular headaches *before* big flares or CMEs pop off) to the point where I'm confident it's not a coincidence. It's been about 12 years since I made the connection.

Anyway. I've never been in a quake before, but I really wonder if one is building. My tinnitus (which is atypical, multi-tonal) has been absolutely off the charts for about 4 days now. It's *so* loud!! And intermittent strange headaches. I don't have high blood pressure, no health problems, not vaxxed, no drinking or drugs, etc.

I'm in the sticks. There's also a strange quiet outside, for about a week, that I can't describe or quantify - like a frequency or vibration or something missing that's usually present. I really can't put my finger on it, but it's noteworthy - enough that my husband noticed it too. All the usual noises are there, but there's an underlying quiet that 8s new. I dunno - building tension?

I dunno. Just my observations. May be nothing.

Came across this guy on Twitter the other day. He's got some interesting observations. He thinks the ring of fire has been abnormally quiet and may be building toward something big along the Cascadia Subduction Zone.
