Apart from the fact that the intact plesiosaurus was a decomposing basking shark, it was indeed a fascinating find. |

Apart from the fact that the intact plesiosaurus was a decomposing basking shark, it was indeed a fascinating find. A good thought, except that the skull of the carcass is where a sharks snout (made of cartilage) would be, and the front & rear flippers of the carcass are the same size. A shark's pectoral & anal fins are no where near the same size |
