its hard to imagine what the world will be like after AI achieves human intellligence
i guess AI will eventually become dominant , whatever precautions are put in place initially over hundreds of years , people will become complacent and wont even be capable of understanding the technologies which run the world
its impossible to prevent AI from being developed to its fullest potential because for military reasons the west , china ,russia will be rushing to maintain parity or achieve an advantage
but in the short term if the technology is put to full use there will be no need for but a tenth of a percent of himans to do anything productive ....
there could be a breakaway civilization which posesses technology far in advance of the rest of us , and so secretly controls and prevents the larger population from obtaining full AI for a period ....this could explain reports of UFO s over the last decade
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13194128 I honestly don't believe AI will be an issue... Likely we will see a merging of robotics and humanity in the next level.
We are already there. Artificial limbs and hearts and joints. Just a matter of time before other parts of the body can be replicated..
Nano technology and 3d Printing technology will be needed in this future world without massive manufacturing capabilities..
Why would we need massive factories(assuming my world view is correct)? What the elites need are a way to make things without having to have an army of human slaves to make it for them...
Push a button and print whatever doohicky they need.. Nanobots to go into their bodies and fix whatever is wrong with them. No need for specialized doctors...
AI will be the fusion of humans and robots. But I don't see this in any of the currently living elites.. Maybe their children will be the final generation that is BORN in the traditional way....
They may just get to live forever as they keep upgrading their technology.
