Giant sunspot turns toward Earth
The video below is from MyNikonP900Zoomz on YouTube. And, although, it may be true that AR2529 is visible to the unaided eye at sunset, it’s really not wise to give that a try! Even at sunset, looking at the sun with your unaided eye can result in permanent eye damage. Nice video, though!

What Is A Sunspot?

combined data sets showed how magnetic field lines within the sun emerge at the surface as small bundles called pores. When two of these pores approach one another, they squeeze the plasma between them into a long structure called a light bridge. Eventually, as the squeezing continues, the bridges merge into a single, large sunspot.

This morning it's impossible to look in sun's direction, it's so bright, there's really something weird about it

that's a coronal hole not a sunspot (if that's what you meant), nothing strange about it

also there are almost no sunspots currently.. that heartshaped sunspot was from April

why did they even pin this?
